Amazing new Youth-led Eco-Growing Club.

Young people can join the Regen Union to get outdoors, learn new skills as part of as a team, take part in eco-growing for the first time and meet the loved and loving animals who make a regenerative loop go round!
10am – 3pm
Beginning Saturday 18th October
For ages 14-18
Free to take part. Bring a packed lunch
You don’t need to book – you can just turn up!

Soil Regeneration Workshops

Learn the techniques needed to generate your own native micro-organisms nurturing resilient healthy ecosystems and creating bountiful productive growth. Join Em Weston on foraging walks to discover and harvest untouched microbiology, then begin the process of cultivating magic back into damaged soils.

Green Shoots 
​Agroecology Development Pathway

 Mentorship Opportunity Opens!
Supported by the CLA Charitable Trust, the upcoming Green Shoots Pathway will offer development and specialization opportunities in regenerative farming for young adults wishing to take their next steps in agroecology. 
Through 6 full day sessions over 6 months, mentees will explore a range of regenerative farming practices in-depth through hands-on experiential learning, including: Soil Health,  Growing from your own Seed, Animals and Holistic Systems, Agroforestry and Companion Planting.

    Get in Touch if you're 16-25yrs old and interested in taking your next steps in regenerative farming.

Listening to the Wild

Blackthorne days studying and recording the incredible ecosystems of our untouched natural habitats.
We are exploring the birdlife, insects and native flora across Blackthorne, using citizen science to collect the data that can celebrate regenerative farming as a thriving heart to natural ecosystems of all kinds.

Have-A-Grow Days​

A monthly session, open to all. Come and learn the cycle of the seasons within a regenerative food loop, taking part together and learning new skills.
Last Friday of the Month Feb - Sept 10am - 3pm
Have a Grow Orchard Special Oct 26th 10am - 3pm

Growing for Giving!​

Our free organic produce and veg garden starter boxes will be available next spring!
​In partnership with Llandrindod Wells Food Bank, The Blackthorne Trust will be growing for giving away to anyone who fancies some free organic salad this summer!
​And for those who like to grow their own, organic veg garden starter boxes may well be coming to a town near you!
